The CSA is a constructive, diagnostic service to help school districts study themselves in relation to specific conditions and beliefs associated with continuous improvement and higher levels of student performance. The ISBF improvement team will use student achievement data, surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations and document reviews to determine the district’s current status in relation to research-based characteristics of high-performing schools. The district will receive a final report and recommendations for improvement.
The broad areas assessed by the CSA team are:
- Culture and Expectations
- Standards and Assessments
- Instruction and Professional Development
- Student Learning Data
- Governance and Leadership
- Parent and Community Connections
