Comprehensive School-Improvement Assessment (CSA)
The CSA is a constructive, diagnostic service to help school districts study themselves in relation to specific conditions and beliefs associated with continuous improvement and higher levels of student performance.
Guide to Districtwide Assessments

The purpose of the Guide to Districtwide Assessment is to supply school board members and district leaders with a tool to use in the development of a district comprehensive assessment system for assessing student achievement in relation to their student learning expectations. 

IGrowth
The IGrowth tools study five year trends to enable districts to determine whether all individuals and subgroups are growing at least one year each year.
Lighthouse Research
The Lighthouse Research focuses on school board leadership for districtwide high and equitable student achievement.
Qwest Foundation Teachers & Technology Grant Program

The Iowa School Boards Foundation has received $50,000 from the Qwest Foundation to be awarded to Iowa educators proposing innovative classroom uses of technology. Deadline for application is January 29, 2010.

School Board Research Symposium 2007

On September 14 and 15, 2007, esteemed researchers convened in Des Moines, Iowa, to present and discuss their latest research during "School Board Research: The Main Lines of Inquiry."

Student Achievement Data Tool
IASB, in partnership with the Iowa School Boards Foundation, is introducing a new tool to help district leaders analyze the current state of student achievement in their districts. The Student Achievement Data Tool was launched at the IASB Convention and is now available to all districts for FREE!
